Handmade Double Mounted Cowboy Spurs By Danny Pollard Handmade double mounted punchy cowboy spurs by merkel texas spur maker danny pollard. Danny is well known for his spur making ability. He is featured in most of the trade publications including bits and spurs motifs, techniques and modern makers by ned and jody martin. He was also featured in texas monthly magazine (see photo) as one of the top spur makers in texas.
His work is veyr collectible. This great pair has been out of the ranch for a while and has a nice patina with cowboy shine inside the heelbands. Big rowels with agl leg shanks and nice artwork. Covered with silver and jewelers bronze with a nice punchy look is danny's trade mark. Marked inside the heelband d. Pollard merkel texas # 843. Everything is right about this collectible pair.
